    In 5e, is a magic staff considered a weapon, an implement, or both (or something else)? Staves are not listed in the equipment section so I wasn't sure - I'm specifically wondering about the rules to use them. If a staff is imprinted with a spell, does the casting of that spell require the usual components (V,S,M)?
